Proflex® Hardcourt
Proflex® Hardcourt Plus is a modified Proflex® Hardcourt systen with an increased number of acrylic and Proflex®Resurfacer 1082 layers to perform on projects that may have a more uneven or open substrate as well as fitting specifications and designs that require an eight layer hardcourt acrylic system.
The Proflex® Hardcourt Plus system delivers on aesthetics, pace, comfort and play characteristics.
The Proflex® Hardcourt Plus system has excellent durability due to the hardwearing Proflex Acrylic coatings.
Proflex® Hardcourt Plus has been the chosen surface for many professional events including ATP 250-500, Davis Cup, Fed Cup, WTA and Billie Jean King Cup. Proflex® Hardcourt Plus has featured as the surface for professional wheelchair tournaments worldwide.
Although Proflex® Hardcourt Plus is primarily a Tennis surface is also an excellent choice for multi use games areas.
ITF Pace Classification
Proflex® Hardcourt is classified by the ITF in Pace Classification 2 (Medium-Slow). However, by varying the formulation of the components used in Proflex® Hardcourt it is possible to produce surfaces with ITF Pace Classifications of 1(Slow) through to 5(Fast).
Proflex® Hardcourt is suitable for use in conventional and wheelchair tennis playing.
The Environment
The materials used in these surfaces are environmentally friendly, using recycled rubber for the cushioning mat, together with solvent free adhesives and water-based polymer coatings.
