From a small Suffolk garage, to projects around the world, the story of Surftech Surfaces Ltd has been one of steady growth, quality, and innovation. Led by Duncan Wilson and joined by his sons Craig and Liam, the Wilson family, along with a team of experienced professionals has built Surftech into the UK’s leading manufacturer of sports and leisure surface systems. Trusted by contractors, architects, and facility owners for more than 10 years.
Through continuous research and technical excellence, Surftech has developed the Proflex® brand into a complete range of high-performance acrylics, cushioned, and polyurethane surfaces engineered for tennis, pickleball, padel, basketball, and multi-sport areas, as well as public leisure and recreational spaces.
A partnership built on shared values
Today marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter in the development of the Proflex® brand as Har-Tru® LLC, one of the most respected names in sport surfacing, will begin manufacturing Proflex products under license at their facility in Charlottesville VA for the U.S. and Canadian markets.
This collaboration is built on mutual respect and a shared commitment to quality, sustainability, and service, ensuring that every Proflex® surface, whether produced in the UK or the USA, upholds the same rigorous standards and craftsmanship developed by the Wilson family and the Surftech team.
Together, Proflex® and Har-Tru® will expand access to premium, high-performance sports and leisure surface solutions from professional courts to community recreational spaces, all designed to enhance comfort, durability, environmental responsibility and player experience.
